Tregonwell Arms Public House. One photograph has the information: Trgonwell Arms, first house built & for many years the only house standing where the centre of Bournemouth now stands. Tregonwell Arms, Old Christchurch road, comes opp. Post Office Road, about 1884. Placards outside are for coach trips, St Peters Church Dedication, Coronation Day, Young Mens Christian Association, Foresters demonstration and site marked for the building of the Punshon Memorial Church.
