Portrait photograph of Sophie Daws from the Musee Conde. (see centre page of the booklet 'Bure Homage Mudeford, A History and Estate by the sea, by Olive Samuel.) Sophie Daws came from a poor fishermans family and was sent to a Workhouse, marrying Baron Feucheres in 1818. she died in London in 1840
