Repairs to North Porch Gates, mural paintings reproduced and trial holes in Lady Chapel to find original level.

DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:

Ongoing repairs at the Priory Church including to North Porch Gate. Professor Tristam commissioned to reproduce the mural paintings in the clerestory of the south west bay at a cost of £35. Trial holes to see if it is possible to expose the original monk's seats around the stone arcading in the Lady Chapel. Taken from the Christchurch Parish Review.
