Plots of Land for sale in Purewell and Stanpit in 1878

DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:

A planning map dated 6th of November 1878 planning map, selling plots in Mofatt Road, Purewell and surrounding roads. Stanley Road is now called Scotts Hill Lane and Livingstone Road no longer goes all the way around the back. It stops when the road becomes stones and gravel. Cameron Road did not exist in 1878. The amounts hand written on each plot are what they sold for. Not all plots were sold at this time. Note... the existing cottages/houses at the bottom of Stanley Road (Scotts Hill Lane) and Livingstone Road denoted by the shaded areas. The cattle gate at the top of Stanley Road is still there but its now metal.
