DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:

Miscellaneous photographs, parcel 3. One of 2 photographs received with a letter from Charles Hudson of Harbour View, Princess Avenue, Christchurch, written to H. Druitt on 4 May 1916. Re Petition sent to the Council complaining of house refuse in the area and noise the Air Compressing Station in Whitehall. Photo shows piles of refuse strewn across a field (? Christchurch Quay) '150 yards from dwelling house'.
