Letter about marriage certificate

DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:

See 2316. Letter reads: I testify that I have lawfully married Henry Harper & Mrs Jeanne Eliz. M. Mason on Dec 1888. As it was accidentally that I have married them on account that they, or 1 of them that I suppose was the bride spoke English only, must have given the notes for making the marriage cert. & keeping it in the Parish Register, but I did not find such a cert. in the book. Besides that I have just ret'd from San Francisco Church and it could happen that some of the papers have been etc. signed by Javier Junguito.
