Euonymus wash house, Bargates

DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:
Photo shows house in process of being demolished. Exposed bottle shaped fireplace with adjacent brick built copper from Euonymus wash house in Bargates . Euonymus was a cob & thatch cottage aged 200 years, pulled down on 26/2/1971, a few hours a preservation order was served. See Allen Whites book on Bargates page 21.
