Allen White collection. Christchurch Brewery, Christchurch High Street. Brewery was established in 1723 as shown by the wording over the ornate gateway. A group of well dressed refined people are standing outside the brewery front, the men are their hats. (?passing parade). This photograph used in Allen Whites book 'Square House', page 34.
