Allen White collection. Rear garden of Square House. Square House built by local brewer John Cook about 1776 and pulled down in 1958, sited on the corner plot of High Street and Wick Lane. The foreground is a lawn which butts up to a high brick with arched gateway, further garden & house beyond.
