Court House, Castle Street
Photo fixed on a mount with the label ‘The Old Court House’. Shown is the New Forest Perfumery in Castle Street. This building though commonly called the Court House was never that. The Old Court House demolished in the 1880s was next door on the Railings and gates on the left of the Perfumery lead into the Christchurch Castle grounds, just inside the gates are a pair of stocks and an information board. Allen White collection.
